CerebraCell is a multi-modal regenerative therapy developed by Leonhardt Ventures for the treatment of various neurological disorders. The platform combines bioelectronic microcurrent stimulation with a proprietary 15-component biologic composition (referred to as CCA-15 or CCR-15) delivered via a programmable, refillable micro-infusion pump. The therapy's primary mechanism involves using specific bioelectric signals to upregulate the expression of stromal cell-derived factor 1 (SDF-1), which serves as a homing signal to recruit both endogenous and delivered stem cells to damaged brain tissue. The biologic component includes a mixture of stem cells, growth factors, exosomes, and a nutrient hydrogel designed to promote neurogenesis and angiogenesis. CerebraCell is being developed for a wide range of indications, including stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and depression.
