Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Cerebroprotein hydrolysate for injection (III)** is a Chinese-approved, porcine brain tissue-derived neurotrophic peptide and amino-acid hydrolysate product. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder for intravenous reconstitution and contains a heterogeneous mixture of low-molecular-weight peptides and free amino acids rather than a single molecular entity. The product is intended for cerebrovascular and brain-injury-related neurological conditions, including stroke-related cerebrovascular disease and traumatic brain injury. Its pharmacology is described as neurotrophic and neuroprotective: it is proposed to support neuronal metabolism, neuronal survival and differentiation, synaptic plasticity, and protection from ischemic or neurotoxic injury; however, it has no established single molecular target. Shanxi Pude Pharma markets 30 mg and 60 mg presentations, measured by total nitrogen content.
