Cereclatulin (MSL-101, Xilieketuoling) is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD24 (Cluster of Differentiation 24), developed by Shenzhen Mingsairuilin Pharmaceutical. CD24 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface glycoprotein that plays a pivotal role in regulating the innate immune response and inflammatory signaling, often through its interaction with Siglec-10. By targeting CD24, cereclatulin aims to suppress pathological inflammation and restore immune homeostasis in conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Additionally, it is being investigated for diabetic retinopathy, where it may address vascular inflammation and leakage by modulating CD24-mediated pathways. The drug is currently in Phase II clinical development for SLE and diabetic retinopathy, administered via intravenous infusion.
