Cetilar

Cetilar is a topical cream formulated primarily with cetylated fatty acids (CFAs) and menthol, designed for the relief of joint, muscle, and tendon pain. Its mechanism of action is based on the ability of CFAs—fatty acids esterified with cetyl alcohol—to penetrate the skin barrier, stabilize and lubricate cell membranes, reduce inflammation, and support recovery in musculoskeletal tissues. The product also contains menthol (1.4%), which provides a topical analgesic effect by activating cold-sensitive receptors in the skin to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains. Cetilar is indicated for use in therapeutic massage to improve joint function, mobility after injury or surgery (including osteoarthritis), rehabilitation following inflammatory or traumatic events, as well as sports injuries[1][2][3][4][5][7][9].
