Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Children's Tuxil RNC Syrup (also known as Tuxil Running Nose and Catarrh Syrup) is an oral combination syrup developed by Fidson Healthcare for the symptomatic relief of cold and allergy symptoms in children, such as running nose, catarrh, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. It contains cetirizine hydrochloride, a second-generation antihistamine that selectively inhibits peripheral histamine H1 receptors to reduce allergic responses without causing significant drowsiness, and menthol, which provides a cooling and soothing effect on irritated respiratory tissues.
