Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jinsaijie is a brand name for cetrorelix acetate, a synthetic decapeptide that acts as a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist. It is primarily used in assisted reproductive technology (ART) to prevent premature ovulation in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation. By binding to and blocking GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, it rapidly suppresses the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). In China, Jinsaijie is developed and manufactured by GeneScience Pharmaceuticals and is utilized in IVF/ICSI protocols as part of a GnRH antagonist regimen.
