Overview

A triple drug combination therapy used for the treatment of BRAF V600E-mutant metastatic colorectal cancer. This regimen combines cetuximab (an EGFR inhibitor), irinotecan (a topoisomerase I inhibitor), and vemurafenib (a BRAF V600E inhibitor) to simultaneously target multiple cancer growth pathways. Clinical trials have shown this combination significantly improves progression-free survival and response rates compared to cetuximab and irinotecan alone.
