Enlituo + Anyouping is a combination therapy consisting of Enlituo (cetuximab) and Anyouping (pucotenlimab). Enlituo is a recombinant anti-EGFR chimeric monoclonal antibody produced in CHO cells, which is designed to have lower immunogenicity compared to the original cetuximab (Erbitux). It targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), inhibiting tumor cell growth and survival. Anyouping is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance T-cell activity against tumors. The combination is developed by Taizhou Mabtech Pharmaceutical and Lepu Biopharma and is currently being evaluated in Phase II/III clinical trials for the first-line treatment of advanced, recurrent, or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy. It is also being investigated for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer.
