Overview

This drug is a combination regimen consisting of **cevostamab**, **pomalidomide**, and **dexamethasone**, under investigation for the treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. - **Cevostamab** is a bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting FcRH5 on myeloma cells and CD3 on T-cells, facilitating T cell-mediated cytotoxicity against myeloma cells. - **Pomalidomide** is an immunomodulatory agent (IMiD) that increases immune system activity, induces apoptosis, and inhibits proliferation of myeloma cells through cereblon E3 ligase modulation and subsequent degradation of transcription factors such as IKZF1 and IKZF3. - **Dexamethasone** is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects frequently used to reduce side effects and enhance anti-tumor effects in myeloma regimens. Clinical investigation focuses on the synergistic anti-myeloma activity and improved response rates in advanced multiple myeloma patients, particularly those who have relapsed or are refractory to other standard treatments.
