Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CFX Tandem is a preclinical-stage regenerative medicine therapy developed by Cellular Logistics for the treatment of chronic heart failure. It utilizes the company's Tandem platform, which combines CFX (Cardiac Fibroblast matriX)—a cell-free therapeutic biomaterial derived from cardiac fibroblasts using induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology—with therapeutic stem cells. This combination is designed to work synergistically to remuscularize scarred myocardium and restore cardiac function. The mechanism of action involves activating endogenous repair mechanisms, promoting angiogenesis, and modulating inflammatory responses in damaged heart tissue. The therapy can be administered as injectable particulates via catheter or as a patch for local epicardial delivery.
