Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CG011811 is an investigational degrader-antibody conjugate (DAC) being developed by Cullgen in partnership with Astellas Pharma for the treatment of oncology. As a DAC, it combines the targeting precision of a monoclonal antibody with the catalytic protein-clearing power of a targeted protein degrader (TPD). The antibody component binds to a specific cell-surface antigen, facilitating the internalization of the conjugate. Once inside the cell, the degrader payload is released to recruit an E3 ubiquitin ligase to a specific, currently undisclosed, target protein, marking it for degradation by the 26S proteasome. This approach is designed to achieve potent and selective knockdown of disease-driving proteins that may be difficult to target with conventional small-molecule inhibitors.
