Overview

CG8123 + cyclophosphamide is an experimental combination therapy evaluated for advanced-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). CG8123 is a cancer vaccine designed to induce a tumor-specific immune response, while cyclophosphamide is an alkylating agent used to suppress regulatory T cells and augment vaccine-induced immune activity. Cyclophosphamide is well established as a cytotoxic and immunosuppressive chemotherapeutic drug, activated in the liver to produce DNA crosslinking and tumor cell death, and is believed to enhance cancer vaccine efficacy by temporarily reducing immunosuppressive regulatory T cells. This combination leverages both direct cytotoxic and immunomodulatory actions to potentially improve anti-tumor immunity and clinical responses in cancer immunotherapy[3][4][6].
