CGEN-15031 is an Fc fusion protein immunotherapy candidate discovered by Compugen using its computational target discovery platform as a novel immunomodulatory protein in the B7/CD28 immune checkpoint family. It is designed as a soluble fusion protein comprising an extracellular domain of a newly identified immune checkpoint-like ligand fused to an Fc domain, aimed at modulating T‑cell activation in autoimmune diseases. Preclinical studies demonstrated that CGEN-15031 exerts immunomodulatory effects and showed therapeutic potential in the experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model of multiple sclerosis, supporting its development as a potential disease-modifying therapy for multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune indications.[1][3][7][9][11]
