Overview

**CGEN-25009** is a novel synthetic peptide agonist of the relaxin receptor (also known as LGR7 or RXFP1), discovered by Compugen using their GPCR Peptide Ligand Discovery Platform. It activates the relaxin family peptide receptor 1, exhibiting antifibrotic and anti-inflammatory properties in preclinical models, particularly preventing bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in animal studies. Developed by Compugen for potential treatment of inflammatory, cardiovascular, and respiratory diseases, with a focus on pulmonary fibrosis.[1][3][7][11]
