Overview

CGN1 is a cell-free regenerative extract developed by Celligenics, a Singapore-based biotechnology company and spin-off from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). The product is derived from the secretome (conditioned medium) of a proprietary sub-population of stem cells, purified to over 90% using a proprietary extraction process. CGN1 contains a complex mixture of biologically active growth factors and cytokines that function through paracrine signaling to promote cellular repair, regeneration, and skin health. It is developed for both cosmeceutical applications (skin rejuvenation) and medical indications, specifically chronic wound healing and ulcers. The cell-free nature of the extract addresses safety and ethical concerns associated with live stem cell therapies while maintaining the therapeutic potential of stem cell secretions.
