CGS-27023 (also known as CGS 27023A or MMI270) is a potent, non-peptidic, orally active small molecule inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), particularly targeting stromelysin (MMP3), gelatinase A (MMP2), gelatinase B (MMP9), and neutrophil collagenase (MMP8).
