Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CH88.2-800CW is a fluorescently labeled monoclonal antibody-based imaging agent designed for intraoperative visualization of gastrointestinal tumors. It consists of the anti-glycan monoclonal antibody CH88.2, which targets the tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens Le^a/c/x^, conjugated to the near-infrared fluorophore IRDye 800CW. The agent enables bimodal imaging using both near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) and photoacoustic (PA) modalities, providing real-time, high-contrast delineation of malignant tissue during surgery while minimizing background signal from healthy organs[6]. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in visualizing gastric and colorectal cancers in animal models[6].
