ChAdOx1-PCAQ is a viral-vectored cancer vaccine candidate designed for the treatment of prostate cancer. It utilizes the ChAdOx1 adenoviral vector platform to deliver and express four prostate cancer-associated antigens—prostate-specific antigen (PSA), prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP), six transmembrane epithelial antigen of the prostate 1 (STEAP1), and oncofetal trophoblast glycoprotein 5T4. Upon administration, the vaccine expresses these peptides, which may elicit both humoral and cellular immune responses against prostate cancer cells expressing these antigens[1]. The approach aims to stimulate an anti-tumor immune response by targeting multiple tumor-associated antigens.
