Chaiqin Ningshen granules (ZY-B007) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical product developed by the Shanxi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Shanxi Provincial Hospital of TCM). It is formulated to treat insomnia disorder accompanied by anxiety symptoms, specifically targeting the TCM pattern of 'liver fire disturbing the spirit' (肝火扰神证). The name suggests the inclusion of *Bupleurum* (Chaihu) and *Scutellaria* (Huangqin), herbs traditionally used to clear heat and regulate liver function. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 2 clinical evaluation in China to determine its efficacy and safety in improving sleep parameters and reducing anxiety.
