Overview

Changfu peritoneal dialysate is a peritoneal dialysis solution developed by Shanghai Changzheng Fumin Jinshan Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of China Resources Double-Crane. It is indicated for continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or chronic renal failure. The solution contains electrolytes (such as sodium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, and sodium lactate) and glucose as an osmotic agent. It works by facilitating the removal of toxic waste products and excess water from the blood across the peritoneal membrane via diffusion and osmosis.
