Changweitong is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preparation developed by Hainan Tongzhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, including chronic gastritis and functional dyspepsia. Formulated as a capsule (Changweitong Jiaonang), it is composed of several herbal extracts such as *Aucklandia lappa*, *Corydalis yanhusuo*, *Paeonia lactiflora*, and *Coptis chinensis*. These ingredients are traditionally used to regulate gastric motility, provide analgesic relief, and exert anti-inflammatory effects on the gastric mucosa. The drug has undergone Phase 1 clinical evaluation in healthy volunteers to establish its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile as part of the modernization and regulatory validation of TCM products in China.
