Overview
Changweitong granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Hainan Tongzhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. It is specifically indicated for patterns characterized by heat accumulation and blood stasis in the intestines, a condition often associated with symptoms such as abdominal pain, distension, and constipation. The drug has undergone Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China to assess the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of single and multiple oral doses in healthy volunteers. As a TCM granule product, it is composed of multiple botanical extracts intended to clear internal heat and resolve blood stasis to restore gastrointestinal function.
