Overview

Changyanning Wan is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) pill developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Momentum Pharmaceutical (also known as Shaanxi Momentum Qixuehe Pharmaceutical). It is formulated from five herbal ingredients: Euphorbia humifusa (Dijincao), Hedyotis chrysotricha (Jinmaoercao), Cinnamomum camphora root (Zhangshugen), Elsholtzia ciliata (Xiangru), and Liquidambar formosana leaf (Fengxiangshuye). The formulation is approved in China for the treatment of acute and chronic gastroenteritis, diarrhea, bacterial (bacillary) dysentery, and pediatric dyspepsia. It functions by clearing heat, removing dampness, and regulating qi, which helps alleviate intestinal inflammation, reduce oxidative stress, and regulate gut microbiota.
