Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ChapStick Lip Moisturizer Mint is a topical over-the-counter (OTC) lip balm and sunscreen product developed by Haleon. It is formulated as a stick containing active sunscreen agents, specifically octinoxate (7.5%) and oxybenzone (3.5%), along with white petrolatum which serves as a skin protectant. The product provides SPF 15 broad-spectrum protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation, specifically UVA and UVB rays, to prevent and treat sunburn and chapped lips. In addition to its active drug ingredients, the formulation contains moisturizing inactive components such as aloe, vitamin E, and lanolin to enhance lip hydration and barrier function.
