Overview

CHD-FA (Carbohydrate-Derived Fulvic Acid) is a patented, high-purity organic acid compound produced from carbohydrate sources through a controlled wet oxidation process. It is characterized as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent. Its primary mechanism of action involves the physical disruption of bacterial and fungal cell membranes and the inhibition of biofilm formation, which allows it to remain effective against multi-drug resistant pathogens such as methicillin-resistant *Staphylococcus aureus* (MRSA), multidrug-resistant *Pseudomonas*, and *Candida albicans*. CHD-FA has been investigated for various clinical applications, including the topical treatment of wound and skin infections, oral biofilm-related diseases like periodontitis, and as a nutritional supplement (F0210) to manage inflammation in HIV-1 infected individuals. Phase I clinical trials have demonstrated that the compound is well-tolerated and exhibits systemic anti-inflammatory properties.
