Chenopodium formosanum extract is a natural botanical extract derived from the seeds, hull, or bran of *Chenopodium formosanum* (commonly called Djulis or Taiwanese quinoa), an endemic pseudocereal from Taiwan. The extract is rich in phenolic compounds, flavonoids (such as rutin and epicatechin), betalains (including betanin and betaxanthin), and phytoecdysteroids.
