Chenxiang Qu is a traditional Chinese medicinal (TCM) fermented preparation used to treat gastrointestinal disorders, particularly functional dyspepsia associated with Liver-stomach Disharmony Syndrome. The formulation typically includes Agarwood (*Aquilaria sinensis*) and other herbs that undergo a fermentation process to create a medicated leaven. It is designed to regulate Qi, harmonize the stomach, and alleviate symptoms such as postprandial fullness, early satiety, and epigastric pain. The drug is being evaluated in clinical trials sponsored by Dongfang Hospital Affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine to establish its efficacy and safety compared to placebo in patients with postprandial discomfort syndrome.
