Overview

CHF 6366 is a novel bifunctional small molecule developed by Chiesi Farmaceutici that acts as a Muscarinic Antagonist and Beta-2 Agonist (MABA). It is designed to provide bronchodilation through two distinct mechanisms—antagonism of the muscarinic M3 receptor and agonism of the beta-2 adrenergic receptor—integrated into a single chemical entity. Developed for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), CHF 6366 is administered via inhalation. Clinical development has progressed through Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials, evaluating its safety, tolerability, and efficacy in improving lung function in healthy volunteers and patients with respiratory disease.
