Overview

CHFX is a simplified Chinese herbal formula developed in collaboration with the Institute of Chinese Medicine, CUHK. It is composed of four food-grade Chinese herbs: Wu-mei (Fructus Pruni Mume), Ling-zhi (Ganoderma), Huang-bai (Cortex Phellodendron), and Zhi-su (Perilla frutescens). This dietary supplement is currently being investigated in a pilot study for its potential to reduce allergic symptoms in food allergy, suggesting an immunomodulatory mechanism of action.
