Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Chidamide + linperlisib is a combination drug regimen consisting of chidamide, a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor, and linperlisib, a phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor. This combination is being investigated primarily for the treatment of refractory or relapsed peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) and follicular lymphoma. Chidamide works by inhibiting HDAC enzymes, leading to modulation of gene expression that can induce cancer cell apoptosis and inhibit proliferation. Linperlisib targets the PI3K pathway, which is involved in cell growth and survival signaling in cancer cells. The combination aims to enhance antitumor efficacy by simultaneously targeting epigenetic regulation and intracellular signaling pathways involved in lymphoma progression. Clinical trials are ongoing mainly in China to evaluate safety and efficacy[1][2][3][6].
