Overview

A research-stage fluorescent imaging conjugate consisting of a chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) covalently linked to the yellow fluorescent dye DyLight 550. Developed for fluorescence-guided surgery and imaging of CEA-expressing tumors, particularly pancreatic cancer, it utilizes a chimeric antibody (murine variable/human constant domains) sourced from Aragen Biosciences and a dye from Thermo Fisher Scientific. Preclinical studies in orthotopic nude mouse models demonstrated its ability to delineate neoplastic tissue, although its performance was noted to be limited by hemoglobin quenching compared to longer-wavelength conjugates like DyLight 650.
