Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination immunotherapy consisting of genetically modified T cells (CAR-T cells) and aldesleukin (high-dose interleukin-2). CAR-T cells are engineered to express chimeric antigen receptors that recognize specific proteins on cancer cells, allowing them to bind to and destroy these cells. Aldesleukin is a cytokine therapy that activates the immune system. This combination leverages both the targeted killing ability of CAR-T cells and the immunomodulatory effects of aldesleukin to enhance antitumor activity.
