Chlamydia trachomatis mRNA vaccine is an investigational mRNA-based vaccine in development for the prevention of infection and reinfection by *Chlamydia trachomatis*, the most common bacterial sexually transmitted infection globally, and a major cause of infertility and pregnancy complications in women. The vaccine is being developed by Sanofi using mRNA technology to encode for specific *Chlamydia trachomatis* antigens, aiming to elicit both humoral and cellular immune responses that prevent primary genital tract infection and reinfection.
