Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ChloraSolv is a topical wound debridement gel developed by RLS Global AB for the treatment of hard-to-heal wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), venous leg ulcers (VLU), and pressure ulcers. The product consists of an amino acid-buffered hypochlorite solution that forms organic chloramines upon application. These chloramines selectively dissolve devitalized tissue and slough through a chemical debridement process while preserving healthy tissue. In addition to its debriding action, ChloraSolv possesses antiseptic and antibacterial properties that help reduce wound biofilm and promote a clean wound bed for healing. It is designed to be an atraumatic, fast-acting alternative to sharp debridement and is regulated as a medical device (CE marked) in European markets.
