Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ChloroStay** is a sustained-release, chlorhexidine-containing topical oral antiseptic mouthwash developed from work at Queen Mary University of London and manufactured/marketed by Schottlander. The product is supplied as two solutions that are mixed immediately before use to form tooth-adherent calcium chloride–chlorhexidine crystals, enabling low-dose chlorhexidine release for up to seven days. It is intended to support prevention and control of dental plaque and gingival inflammation, particularly in difficult-to-clean areas around teeth and fixed orthodontic appliances.
