Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Remidol is a combination non-prescription drug developed and manufactured by Grupo Farmasierra. It is formulated as granules for oral solution and is indicated for the symptomatic relief of common cold and influenza symptoms, including mild to moderate pain, fever, non-productive cough, nasal congestion, and sneezing. The product contains three active ingredients: paracetamol (acetaminophen), which acts as an analgesic and antipyretic; dextromethorphan hydrobromide, a non-opioid antitussive that suppresses the cough reflex; and chlorphenamine maleate, a first-generation antihistamine that reduces nasal secretions and sneezing.
