Overview

A combination therapy consisting of chlorpheniramine (an H1 antihistamine) and cimetidine (an H2 receptor antagonist). This combination is primarily used in the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) that does not respond adequately to H1 antagonist therapy alone. The dual blockade of both histamine H1 and H2 receptors provides more effective relief of symptoms including itching and hive formation.
