**Cholvax** is a Bangladesh-licensed, orally administered, inactivated whole-cell cholera vaccine manufactured by Incepta Vaccine following technology transfer from the International Vaccine Institute. It is a bivalent vaccine directed at *Vibrio cholerae* serogroups O1 and O139 and contains heat- and formaldehyde-inactivated O1 Inaba and Ogawa strains plus an O139 strain. It is supplied as a 1.5 mL oral suspension and is indicated for active immunization against cholera in individuals aged at least 1 year; the primary schedule is two oral doses administered at least two weeks apart.
