Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ChondroColl is a bio-mimetic, three-layer regenerative scaffold developed by SurgaColl Technologies for the repair of articular joint cartilage. Composed of collagen, hydroxyapatite, and hyaluronic acid, the implant's architecture and composition are designed to mimic the natural structure of joint tissue. It works by stimulating the patient's own stem cells to migrate into the scaffold and differentiate, thereby regenerating both the cartilage and the underlying subchondral bone. Primarily indicated for early-stage cartilage damage in the knee, ChondroColl aims to provide a drug-free alternative to traditional surgical interventions, potentially delaying or preventing the onset of osteoarthritis and the need for total knee replacement.
