Overview
Chonglou Jiedu tincture (also known as Chonglou Jiedu Ding) is a traditional Chinese patent medicine formulated as a topical liquid tincture. Developed and manufactured by Guizhou Shengjitang Pharmaceutical, the formulation is primarily composed of Paridis Rhizoma (Chonglou), Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii (Caowu), Artemisiae Argyi Folium (Aiye), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Shichangpu), garlic, and natural borneol. The tincture is approved in China for clearing heat, detoxifying, resolving stasis, and relieving pain. It is clinically utilized for the topical treatment of herpes zoster, skin pruritus, insect bite dermatitis, and mumps.
