Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Choulingdan mixture (CLDM) is an empirical clinical prescription that has been used for almost 30 years for the adjuvant treatment of acute lung injury (ALI). It is composed of 93 characterized ingredients, including flavonoids, organic acids, saponins, terpenoids, and tannins. CLDM improves ALI by significantly inhibiting pulmonary inflammation, pulmonary edema, and oxidative stress, primarily through the inhibition of the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway.
