Overview
Crominex® 3+ is a proprietary nutraceutical complex composed of trivalent chromium (Cr³⁺), *Phyllanthus emblica* (Amla) fruit extract, and purified Shilajit. Developed by Kerry Group (following its acquisition of Natreon), the formulation is designed to optimize the stability and bioavailability of chromium by complexing it with Amla-derived polyphenols and incorporating it into the fulvic acid structure of Shilajit. This synergistic combination is primarily utilized to support cardiometabolic health, with clinical studies demonstrating its efficacy in improving endothelial function, lipid profiles, and glucose homeostasis. It is marketed for the management of metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular risk factors, and has also been investigated for its potential anti-inflammatory effects in joint health.
