Chrysanthemi Indici Flos (CIF) is the inflorescence of *Chrysanthemum indicum L.*, a plant widely utilized in traditional Chinese medicine. It contains various active chemical components, including chlorogenic acid, 3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, galuteolin, linarin, luteolin, naringenin, kaempferol, and isorhamnetin. CIF demonstrates antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. Its chemical composition and bioactivities are influenced by drying processes, with drier samples exhibiting enhanced antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Research indicates its potential to mitigate inflammation by inhibiting IKKβ activity and suggests antiviral capabilities.
