Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CHT102 is an allogeneic universal chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (U CAR-T) immunotherapy targeting mesothelin (MSLN), a cell surface protein overexpressed in several solid tumors. Developed by Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital, with involvement from Nanjing Calmhome Cell & Gene Engineering Institute, this therapy is designed for the treatment of MSLN-positive advanced solid tumors, including pancreatic cancer. The drug functions as a mesothelin inhibitor through engineered CAR-T cells that recognize and attack tumor cells expressing mesothelin. As of early 2025, CHT102 is in Phase 1 clinical trials for pancreatic cancer and other MSLN-positive solid tumors[1][2][3][4][5].
