Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Chunkang Xuezhi is a traditional Mongolian medicine developed by Inner Mongolia Aoteqi Mongolian Medicine Co., Ltd. for the treatment of primary hyperlipidemia. As a multi-component herbal formulation, it is designed to regulate lipid metabolism and improve blood circulation. Clinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in reducing levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients with dyslipidemia. The formulation typically includes herbal extracts such as Sea buckthorn (*Hippophae rhamnoides*), which are rich in flavonoids and other bioactive compounds known to modulate lipid pathways. It is administered orally, usually in capsule form, and is marketed in China as a regulated pharmaceutical product for managing blood lipid levels.
