Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Chunru Gel (椿乳凝胶) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) vaginal gel developed by Qianjin Research Institute (a subsidiary of Qianjin Pharmaceutical). It is formulated from five active herbal ingredients: Chunpi (*Ailanthi Cortex*), Kushen (*Sophorae Flavescentis Radix*), Mudanpi (*Moutan Cortex*), Ruxiang (*Olibanum*), and Bingpian (*Borneolum Syntheticum*). Chunru Gel is approved in China for the treatment of chronic cervicitis with cervical erosion, particularly for cases presenting with damp-heat and blood stasis. It exhibits anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and tissue-regenerating properties, and has been shown to regulate vaginal flora and inhibit the expression of low-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) types such as HPV6 and HPV11.
