Overview

CHXM-003 is a small molecule targeted protein degradation (TPD) candidate being developed by ChomiX for the treatment of tumors. Leveraging ChomiX's proprietary chemoproteomics platform, the drug is designed to engage an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase to facilitate the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of specific target proteins within tumor cells. This approach aims to address previously "undruggable" targets by removing the protein entirely rather than simply inhibiting its function. As of early 2024, CHXM-003 is in the hit identification stage of preclinical development.
