Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CID-375076 is a small-molecule oxazolidine derivative identified as a potent inhibitor of the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS3 protease catalytic domain. Discovered through structure-based virtual screening and flexible docking of oxazolidine derivatives, CID-375076 exhibits strong binding affinity within the active site of the NS3 protease, forming critical hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic contacts with key substrate-binding residues and the catalytic triad (His57, Asp81, and Ser139). Preclinical ADMET profiling predicts high oral bioavailability, non-hepatotoxicity, and a lack of CYP450 inhibition, supporting its potential as a drug-like lead compound for the treatment of HCV infection.
