Overview

CIM107 is a gene-edited natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by CiMaas for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapy utilizes NK cells that have been modified to knock out the T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT), an inhibitory checkpoint receptor. TIGIT is typically expressed on NK cells and T cells and serves to suppress immune activation upon binding to its ligands in the tumor microenvironment. By removing TIGIT expression, CIM107 is designed to reduce inhibitory signaling, thereby enhancing the anti-tumor potency, activation, and persistence of the NK cells against solid tumor targets. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
