Overview

CIM108 is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy being developed by CiMaas for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapy utilizes NK cells engineered with a CAR and further modified to knockout the NKG2A (KLRC1) inhibitory receptor. NKG2A is a checkpoint molecule on NK cells that binds to HLA-E on tumor cells, leading to immune suppression. By removing this inhibitory signal, CIM108 aims to enhance the persistence and cytotoxic activity of the CAR-NK cells within the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.
